SANTEE, CA — Five kittens and one cat were left in a cardboard box outside a firestation in Santee Nov. 19. The cats are now being cared for by the San Diego Humane Society, NBC San Diego reported. The white cats, five 7-week-old kittens and one 6-month-old cat, were unharmed and dropped off at the humane society's 24-hour Kitten Nursery, according to NBC San Diego. The cats are now currently in foster homes.
