We’re Hiring Experienced Outside Machinists to start work immediately at a new marine project inside a shipyard. This is a Steady, long Term position. Must have at least 5 years of experience. 40-55 Hours a week. Overtime Pay after 40 hours. Starting Salary $30/Hr. Job Consists of Fixing and Installing all mechanical parts (Thrusters, Tail Shaft, Propellers, Sea Valves, Pumps, Etc..) on a new commercial ship. Must have all tools of the trade and be able to pass a drug screen. Requirements: Must be able to work in outside conditions. Must be able to read blueprints. Must have knowledge in diagnosing and troubleshoot mechanical components. Able to lift heavy objects 50lb+.
