Join us for church safety /security training. Topics from why and how to build a safety team, identifying an issue to de-escalation. Jim Howard, church safety expert who trains church safety teams nationally will provide a four hour training covering multiple topics: - Building a safety team - why it's important and steps in setting it up. - Identifying threats - Verbal de-escalation - Pros and cons of concealed weapons/ legal liability - Mental health and church disruptions - Importance of churches sharing information ....and more. There is no cost to attend this event, however a love offering will be received for the ministry. This event is open to church leadership/pastors, church staff, safety team members, ushers, greeters, children's ministry and other volunteers in your church.
