$20/hr Stagehand work at the Abilene Convention Center April 7

This is IATSE Local 865, a stagehand union. We need people to work at the Abilene Convention Center (1100 N 6th St.) for the Broadway musical "South Pacific" on April 7th 2022. We will be loading in the show in the morning, set up and loading them out at night, all on April 7. Hours: 7am to 8am is COVID testing (you will get paid for this hour). Work starts at 8am and goes until noon. There will be a 15 minute break during this time with doughnuts and coffee. Some people may need to come back after lunch depending if the show needs them. 10pm and work until finished. You will get paid for a minimum of 4 hours for this night shift even if we don't work the entire 4 hours. 2 of the hours will be overtime. Since this is a stagehand union, pay is done differently. Base pay is $20 an hour. Any hours worked before 8am or after midnight will be overtime (so $30/hr) and shifts are paid in 4 hour minimums. There will be paperwork to fill out when you come to work. This job is not a 1 time thing. If you show up and work, you will be contacted again in the future. The work is easy and we take care of everyone who shows up and works. READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY: - MUST BE AT LEAST 18 AND YOU MUST HAVE A VALID UNEXPIRED US PASSPORT OR ID / DRIVER'S LICENSE AND YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD OR ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE TO WORK. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. IF YOU AREN'T SURE WHAT YOU HAVE WILL ALLOW YOU TO WORK, CONTACT AND I CAN TELL YOU. - SINCE WE ARE A UNION, EVERYONE GETS 5% TAKEN OUT OF THEIR PAYCHECK THAT GOES BACK INTO A FUND. IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THIS, DON'T APPLY. - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO SHOW UP. YOU WILL BE IGNORED FOR FUTURE SHOWS IF YOU DON'T SHOW UP. - The show will be testing people for COVID and masks will be required.
