Help raise needed funds for Home at Last Humane Society while having a blast with the furry friends of our community. Costumes encouraged! The Dimes for Dogs Walkathon will involve the entire community and their pets with a self-paced walk from Home at Last Shelter to the Discovery Center along the Riverfront Trail. Bring us a 13-gallon bag of bottles and cans (AKA dimes for dogs!) to receive free entry to this event. We're planning a full-on soiree with costumes encouraged, an after-party featuring live music, beverages and food, raffle drawings and prizes for best costumes. Each walker receives a goodie bag and a participation award. Register with Eventbrite, or on-site at 200 River Road beginning at 9 a.m. Walkathon starts at 10:10 a.m.
