MEETING PLACE: All guests park in front of J Building, to the left the guard shack, 2400 S. Clinton Street. BRING I.D. DRESS CODE: No shorts or open toed shoes. VIDEO: Mike Wicklein will be capturing some aspects of the tour, which may work themselves into future video(s) for Rukert Terminals . All guests should understand and agree to being recorded. RAIN CHECK : Tour will take place, rain or shine, unless weather is extreme and not safe.AGENDA:2:50 - 3:05 - All participants meet in front of J Building, to the left of the guard shack, at 2400 S. Clinton Street. Will pass out safety vests to all visitors.3:05 - 3:15 - Begin tour with high level overview of Rukert history to set the scene - from 1921 through present day; Fell's Point, expansion to Canton; now the largest privately owned marine terminal on East Coast. Will provide a high level overview of the primary products handled and where they come from, and what they're used for, as well as ship types. 3:15 - 3:40 - Walk along the pier as close to the waterfront as possible, as is safe. Explain what's happening at the moment (ships being unloaded). Crews, shifts, operations, etc. where's the product / ship from, where's it going. Talk about the big Liebher crane and other pier side equipment. Talk about rebuilding Laz as a 100 year pier - what that means. Talk about the tunnel running underneath - show the markers. Continue walking towards the light house.3:40 - 3:50 - Stop at the lighthouse (maybe have a peak inside). Tell the story - original plus the reconstruction (plus Edgar Alan Poe prank). Talk about the dedication ceremony, Defenders Day at Fort McHenry, and the cannon. Talk PECO crane and other piers.3:50 - 4:10 - Loop back across the top of the pier towards the entrance where we came in. Cut through / around warehouses / rail cars and talk storage, products, volumes of materials handled, where they're headed. 4:10 - 4:15 - Arrive back at entrance. 4:15 - 4:25 - Final questions / comments
