Sweet Pointer mix looking for a new home

Kona is a 7 month old female German short hair pointer mix. She weighs about 45 lbs but still has some growing to do; she has been spayed, and she is microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Kona is very playful. She loves to play tug and will sometimes play fetch, but usually she just runs to the toy and back without picking it up. She will probably be a good running dog if trained to run with you, but is currently more interested in stopping to sniff all the things. Kona is accustomed to sleeping in a kennel at night, but she does enjoy cuddles, if that’s what you prefer. Because Kona still has a lot of puppy energy, she would probably do best in a house that doesn’t have very small kids. Her previous foster home had another dog, who she seemed to get along with pretty well, but she did get nervous in a doggy daycare setting with lots of other dogs. We need to find a new home for her by April 9.
