Please call these numbers even if it's only a sighting!!! (Mia, primary owner) (Cary, Mom) (Joe, Dad) (Kendel, sister) (Kimberly, sister) Please check your backyard THOROUGHLY and FREQUENTLY!!! She could wander anywhere. Missing baby yellow sided green cheek conure; orange belly, bright green wings and head. Name: Chex Mix Went missing: March 20th around 9am Our other conure has been so stressed and upset since she went missing, even seeing her picture on the "Missing" posters causes panic and upset. She usually has her wings clipped, but some of her flight feathers have grown out, allowing for some limited flight and steering capabilities. She will be dehydrated, so once found please supply her with fresh water, and/or watery fruits (she loves oranges, apples, and blueberries). She will also be very scared and may try to bite if you try to pick up or touch her. If she is found somewhere such as a backyard that is closed off, make sure she is safe (remove any pets or excess people from the area) and give us a call so we can come get her. If she is found in an unsafe location such as near a street, try to GENTLY and SLOWLY corral her away from danger, but avoid doing anything that would cause her to try to fly away. If you absolutely must pick her up, get a dish towel and GENTLY but FIRMLY wrap her in it, making sure to cover her head. This will help protect you from being bitten, and may help to somewhat calm her. Do not keep her in the towel very long, only to transport her away from danger. Pleaseee help us bring our sweet baby home, we miss her so much. If you have her but want to keep her for yourself, please have a heart and return her to us. Her birthday (and mine) passed, and it was heartbreaking to spend it apart from each other.
