VETERANS NEEDED FOR PAID RESEARCH STUDY James J. Peters Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY If you are a Military Veteran in the tri-state area between the ages of 18-65 who has either been diagnosed with bipolar disorder or not diagnosed with any mental health disorder, you may be eligible for this research study. Veterans who are pregnant cannot participate. This study does not provide treatment. This study aims to better understand impulsive behavior in veterans with bipolar disorder. There may be no direct benefit to you from this study, but participation could help contribute to future knowledge. Study Procedures: • Multiple visits over the span of 12 months • MRI scan • Blood draw • Paper/pencil and computerized assessments Upon completion of the study you can earn up to $825.
