The NKY Bourbon Barrel Walk debuts today and you can be among the first to experience it, as the path takes you around Covington. This spring, more than 100 businesses and organizations sponsored a bourbon barrel. The sponsors were matched with local artists to create and paint a custom design on each barrel. These barrels were then placed along a path which winds through the entertainment and business districts of NKY's urban river cities. The NKY Bourbon Barrel Walk debuts today and we invite you to join us on a guided tour of part of Covington's Bourbon Barrel Walk. Along the way, you'll get a closeup look at some of the barrels. We'll also share info about the murals and statues we'll see, some of the unique businesses in Covington and a little history about the buildings we'll pass. It's a fun way to see the barrels and enjoy the art and architecture of this cool River City. Choose a tour based on what you'd like to see: 9:00AM TOUR: This tour takes you through the Downtown and Roebling Point neighborhoods and is 1.25 miles long. 11:00AM TOUR: This tour takes you through the Downtown and MainStrasse Village neighborhoods and is 1.25 miles long. 3:00PM TOUR: This tour takes you through the Downtown and Roebling Point neighborhoods and is 1.25 miles long. 7:00PM TOUR: This tour takes you through the Downtown and MainStrasse Village neighborhoods and is 1.25 miles long.
