WOONSOCKET, RI — An overnight shooting in Woonsocket left one person seriously injured, police said. The incident happened early Wednesday morning, just after midnight, in the 100 block of Logee Street. The victim, a 33-year-old Woonsocket resident, was found behind a home, suffering a gunshot injury. The victim was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. He is believed to be in critical condition, police said. No other injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made at this time.
