Hey Craigslist. 34 y/o singer here looking to start a serious project. Who's out there? I used to play the piano and I was a singer throughout high school and college. I want to sing and play basic piano or guitar. I think if I can find a solid guitar player who is interested in branching out, we could really get this going. Over the last 5 years I have grown passionate about Sertanejo. My Brazilian wife turned me on to it initially, but today it's by far my music of choice. There is an element to it that is incredibly unique (see links below). We could practice in my apartment in East Haven, or we could rent a space somewhere. I am invested in this and I have no issue putting some $ into it. I would want to practice at least once a week (preferably more). Ideally we would play gigs and record. I'm not big into covers. A few of them, sure. But this project would be to write, perform and record all original music.
