Description

Learn how to create unique portraits with very dramatic lighting. Creative the mood with the correct lighting and Canon lens In this day long, hands-on workshop we will discuss how to find and control light and then use it in your portraits to emphasis all kinds of emotions such as, drama, happiness, wonder, and insight. It’s a path to becoming aware of the light around you and your subject’s response to it. Coupled with the right lens perspective, it’s an amazing experience. Recognizing and using the light to its best advantage is only part of the image. Combining the light with the capture of the emotion and the composition along with your subject’s expression is the magic. Additional discussions will include how to style the image, coming up with concepts, storyboarding, scouting locations and simple and natural posing. Both Studio lights, in the morning and Natural Light, in the afternoon will be utilized. Which lenses to use to accomplish this portrait wonder will also be a part of our discussions. Allow yourself to think differently by creating unique portraits. For those who are in Business or starting a Business, this is the kind of image that becomes a Wall Portrait. For those who have a passion for photography, (not in Business) but want to create a portfolio of Fine Art Photography, this is a good place to start. Lunch is included in this workshop and Canon loaner lenses will be available to try out during this event. Bring your equipment as you will have plenty of opportunities to shoot during this class!
