Mango is a shy and skittish dog. However, once you get the opportunity to know him (and he gets the opportunity to warm up to you) he is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet. Because of the whippet in him he LOVES to run. Mango's background before I adopted him is he was a street dog in Central America before eventually going into a shelter and then transferring to a shelter up here. Because of that Mango is still very much learning how to be a dog and do doggy things. He doesn't know how to play fetch or really any traditional "games" but I'm sure he would love it if you're able to teach him. Even though he doesn't really know how to do those, he plays in his only special way and can be so much fun. He's going to be a but of work, but I know that it will all work out and it will all be worth it because he is a very special dog that just needs love, cuddles and a good consistent stable home (preferably with a big backyard to run around in). * Mango does experience some behavioural issues and is very selective of the dogs he likes. He has never bitten anyone but when he is in an uncomfortable situation he has bared teeth and snapped. However, I know that these issues can be solved with proper training and structure. I also would not recommend a home with children. * Please contact me if you're interested or have any questions!
