We desire to equip individuals to be instruments of hope, empowerment, and change in their own neighborhoods. You are Jesus on earth now! This event was envisioned by a couple of ministry leaders who are invested in supporting leaders and community-led efforts to rebuild networks that serve the needs of the wider community, to learn what it means to be good neighbors on a wider scale. We begin with the Community Roundtable: This thought-lab experience provides a forum that brings together members from all spheres - social, political, and spiritual - to identify sticking issues within the city of Killeen they can agree to address within their respective areas of influence to create a more holistic sense of community. 11am -12noon Community Roundtable – A session with local ministry and community leaders to understand the art of neighboring among different cultures and people, and how the church as a body should be the basis for that kind of change. Our hope is to invite and empower the creative expression of God through the collective power among cultures and social communities; to equip individuals to be instruments of hope, empowerment, and change within their own neighborhoods.12:30pm-2:30pm Prayer & Prophetic Panel – This is a closed room session with a panel of prophets to pray for and speak life over those who need to SIGN UP to participate. We know that this is part of our mandate in the earth to reconcile man to man, as well as man to God through the beautiful connection that already exists between Christ and His transformative power by simply partnering with His Spirit. As our gathering is centered in creating community, we believe that Jokia’s worship brings to mind our relationship with the Father and that we get to share in this together.7pm Jesus Moves Into the Neighborhood Message – A welcome into a new neighborhood where life hovers and counters the mindset of pending doom and disaster. By identifying that when people show up in their own lives and neighborhoods it is Jesus Himself showing up through them, we hope to persuade people to become life-giving spirits.NOTE: This day-long event is free and open to the public.
