SILVER SPRING, MD — A person ordered at the Chick-fil-A on Tech Road, got their food from the counter and was heading toward the door when they snatched another customer's purse off a table and ran, authorities said. Video released by the Montgomery County Police department shows the victim chase the suspect— whose gender is unknown, police said — out of the building. The victim got the purse back and got into a brief "scuffle" with the suspect before the suspect ran off. The attempted robbery took place around 8 a.m. Saturday, police said.
