Books & BBQ! Enjoy a unique book swapping experience, awesome BBQ sliders, and a social evening with supporters of the Book Vending Machine Come on out to Southern Smoke Market, Harlem, Ga, for such a wonderful event in support of fundraising efforts for our Book Vending Machine (to be placed in NHE, all books will be free for students who receive their gold coin(s)). We are going to have a blast! Bring a book to leave and take a book home with you to start on during the weekend. You will enjoy BBQ sliders, chips, a cold soda, and a unique experience of previewing all books being swapped, listening to anyone who would like to talk a bit about the book they brought, and a bit of literature trivia! Our families will be there, all ages are welcome, but the book exchange is more towards adult readers. It is a social event, and Southern Smoke Market will be showcasing their inventory of new arrivals, as well as local favorite items. The cost is a $10 donation, with all ticket proceeds supporting the Book Vending Machine Initiative! Please purchase your tickets early, as I think we are going to sell out fast!
