Join Swannanoa Tree Alliance on April 16th to Celebrate Earth. Take a tour of the 6 Treasured Trees located @ Camp Rockmont. Take a tour of Camp Rockmont and the 6 Treasured Trees that are registered there. Hear tall tales and oral historey from John Corkran who was raised at Black Mountain College that is now Camp Rockmont. This event is free to the public. Registration is encouraged. Be sure to bring good walking shoes, water, and sunscreen. A raffle of native trees will occur during the event.
