NEW MILFORD, CT — A worker at Rocky River Power Plant was rescued by firefighters Tuesday morning, according to The Danbury News-Times. Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company units responded shortly after 10 a.m. to assist on a mutual aid call at the New Milford power plant for a low-angle rescue of an injured pipeline worker.
The injured worker was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment, and firefighters cleared the scene at about 11:30 a.m.
