LONG VALLEY, NJ - The polls are closed, the tallies are over and now the contested race for Washington Township Board of Education has been decided after a pandemic extended election cycle. According to the final tallies, certified by the Morris County Clerk the totals were: Kiranmayi Tadi: 3,332Stephanie Wilson: 3,370Bryan Nesfeder: 2,615Jason Koestenblatt: 4,204Jill A. Phil Murphy because of the coronavirus, there were been many questions about how the process worked. The primarily vote-by-mail process, in tandem with the extended deadlines to receive votes pushed the certification day to "on or about Nov. 20."
