Town-Wide Scavenger Hunt Kicks Off Friday In Darien

DARIEN, CT — The Community Fund of Darien's "Mission: Possible!" town-wide scavenger hunt will kick off in town Friday, running from April 1–3. According to a news release, the web-based event was created last year to bring the town together to have some fun and raise money to benefit TCF's nonprofit partners' programs that strengthen youth, adults and families in Darien, Norwalk and Stamford. The top three teams with the most points will receive gift cards from their choice of location: 1st Place: $1,0002nd Place: $5003rd Place: $250 Teams of 4-6 people can download the Goose Chase App to receive "missions," which could be something as simple as answering a question about Darien or taking a photo of your team at a specific location. Daily prizes will also be awarded to add to the fun. Those who wish to participate can register at www.communityfunddarien.org ($50 per team, create your own team of 4-6 players).
