LONG VALLEY, NJ - Washington Township Police officers will now have a new flag displayed when they begin and end their tours thanks to the work of Peter Markiewicz and his son. The Markiewiczs presented a flag made by hand to the Washington Township Police Department Thursday and received a note of thanks on social media. "We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support from the community that we have received in the midst of this turbulent time," police said. Thanks for reading!
