HARLEM, NY — An argument between two straphangers turned violent when one man slashed the other's chest in a subway car in Harlem last weekend, according to police.
A 40-year-old man and the suspected slasher began to argue on a northbound 3 train stopped at the Harlem-148th Street station about 11:40 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The suspect then took out a knife, slashed the victim then fled the train and the station, according to police.
His victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said.
