BRIDGEPORT, CT— Students at Fairchild Wheeler Interdistrict Magnet Campus walked out of their classrooms Tuesday to protest a popular principal being put on administrative leave, according to News 12. The students rallied in halls demanding to know why the principal has been absent since mid-March. Superintendent Michael Testani told News 12 that he couldn't comment on the matter. However, he sent out a message about the situation and said he had productive conversation with the rallying students. Fairchild Wheeler Interdistrict Magnet Campus serves multiple districts but the Bridgeport superintendent is in charge.
