BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Waterbury man was arrested Thursday and faces charges in connection with a robbery-turned-killing last year, according to police. Jacque Richard, 26, of the 2400 block of North Main Street, is charged with murder, first-degree robbery, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and use of a firearm in an A, B or C felony, police said. Richard is being held on a $2.5 million bond, according to police. Richard and an accomplice fatally shot Michael Harrigan in the process of trying to rob him while he sat in his car in the early morning hours of Dec. 12 on Black Rock Avenue, police said. Investigators are still trying to identify Richard's accomplice, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to call 203-581-5242.
