Here are the top three stories today in New Orleans: NOPD is currently investigating a fatal crash on I-10. Late Tuesday, a driver struck a woman who was walking along the shoulder. She was pronounced dead at the scene. (WDSU New Orleans) New flood insurance rates for New Orleanians will take effect Friday. Greater New Orleans Incorporated and elected officials are seeking a delay to prevent citizens from having to pay the increased price. The St. Tammany Sheriff's investigation has found they've stolen and spent the money between July 2021 and February 2022.
