Shooting At Intersection Under Investigation In Beachwood: Police

BEACHWOOD, NJ — Authorities are investigating a shooting that happened in Beachwood on Monday that police believe started with a dispute in another town. Beachwood police responded to a report of gunshots about 9:20 p.m. in the area of Admiral Avenue and Locker Street and found several spent shell casings, along with a bullet hole in a parked vehicle, police said. There were no injuries reported, and the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident, police said. The initial investigation found the shooting started with a dispute in a neighboring town that involved two vehicles and ended with the shots fired at the Locker-Admiral intersection in Beachwood, police said. Both vehicles left the area after the shooting, they said. The is investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Beachwood Detective David Bowden or Detective Sgt.
