TOMS RIVER, NJ — In the mood for a sub? Jersey Mike's is hoping millions of people will be on Wednesday for its annual "Day of Giving" where the company donates the proceeds from its sales to charity. For 2022, Jersey Mike's is donating 100 percent of the sales today to the Special Olympics, with the goal of sending every qualifying athlete to the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, Florida, from June 5 through 12. The annual Day of Giving finishes out the company's Month of Giving that helps support charities of all kinds. In years past, Jersey Mike's supported charities on a more localized level, but this year is making a nationwide push for Special Olympics. Buying subs at any of the Toms River locations will help support nearly 140 athletes from New Jersey who are hoping to compete.
