S&P Global just released its annual list of America's top 50 performing banks during 2021. West Bank is listed as the #13 top performing large community bank in America. West Bank is the only Iowa bank and one of very few from the Midwest to make the list. S&P Global Market Intelligence analyzes the financial performance of community banks $3-$10 billion in asset size, including both publically and privately owned banks. Six metrics are used to rank banks, among them a return on tangible common equity, efficiency ratio and operating revenue growth.
