John Muir Overnight in Yosemite Valley Day 1 You’ll taste a piece of California’s rich agricultural hub as we pass through a slice of the Central Valley famous for specialty fruits and nuts such as almonds, walnuts, cherries, and strawberries. You'll stop to pick up lunch, hiking snacks and any other last minute supplies you'll need for the next two days. 11:30 – 1:30pm: Arrive at Yosemite National Park. Take a hike to see the Giant Sequoias wander among the trees and enjoy your lunch in the forest. 1:30 – 3:00pm: Enjoy a narrated, guided tour through Yosemite’s glaciated valley with its famous waterfalls and rock formations from the comfort of the mini-coach. You'll make some photo stops as you descend into Yosemite Valley and learn some history about this amazing park. Your guide will give you a guided tour of the valley and drop you off to check-in and get settled in your tent cabin. Now you're free to enjoy the valley as you please, whether that includes a hike, exploring waterfalls, checking out the Visitor's Center, renting a bike or swimming in the Merced River. Day 2 Stay overnight in the center of Yosemite Valley surrounded by the forest and towering granite cliffs above. With views of spectacular Half Dome, this outpost has been a park staple since 1899. Enjoy the flexibility to enjoy the night as you please. Whether that is at the nearby bar or star-gazing from the wide open meadow below Half Dome.
