Man Robbed At Knifepoint In Clarendon: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating an armed robbery Sunday night in Clarendon on the street behind the post office on Washington Blvd. Police learned about the robbery early Monday afternoon when they were dispatched to the 3100 block of N. 10th Road. Officers found out that at about 11 p.m. on Sunday, a man was walking in the area when he was approached from behind by the robbery suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim by the shoulder, brandished a knife and demanded the man's wallet and cell phone, the ACPD said. The suspect then fled on foot with the wallet and phone. The suspect is described as a Black male, about 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-feet tall and about 150 pounds. He is in his mid-20s to early-30s, wearing a red hoodie and black pants, according to police.
