Looking for someone to assist with mounting solar panels on a roof. I have all the stuff needed. Would be a good gig for a roofer, handyman, or maybe an actual solar installer looking for a side job. Hours/days fairly flexible. Can wait for nicer weather if desired.
In scope: going up on ladder and assisting with locating the trusses and installing the mounts in a straight line. I have a laser and a chalk line to assist with this. Then assisting with bringing up the panels (about 50lbs each) and attaching them to the mounts( I have the clamps that attach to the mounts.
Not in scope: no electrical work i will connect them together and have a licensed electrician connect the inverters to the breaker.
If you happen to be licensed for the electrical part we can talk about that as a separate gig or you could do both. I am pulling permits. As far as the city is concerned I am the owner and contractor which is allowed.
If interested send an email and let me know what you have done that is similar to this, what days/hours you would be available, and your name and company name (if any).
I am probably going to leave this up for a few days and then respond to one or two people who look like a good fit. So if this is still up I am still taking submissions. Responses without the things asked for will not be responded to.
