HOBOKEN, NJ — For the first time, the Hoboken Board of Education will be hosting a series of general citywide information sessions. The move comes two weeks after the board closed a survey about how to revamp school facilities.
The first "citywide information session" will take place this Thursday at the Jubilee Center at 601 Jackson St. from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
That session will be hosted by board trustees Chetali Khanna and Alex DeLaTorre, the board said.
"The intent of these information sessions," said a note from the board, "is for residents to be able to converse with Board of Education members about all of the programs and services the Hoboken Public School District offers students, the achievements our students have made, the awards and distinctions our schools have earned, and the events that are coming up across the district."
They added, "We look forward to seeing and speaking with all those interested and able to attend."
