This important team member drives a company Mobile Shred Vehicle, transporting materials from client and Crown Information Management locations. A Document Destruction / Shredder loads and unloads with a variety of mechanisms prepares paperwork and performs daily inspections and some maintenance on the Mobile Shred Vehicle to ensure its efficient operation. This position calls for a significant degree of strength and stamina. The day begins between 6.00am and 7.00am. The average day length is between 9 and 11 hours; the average number of stops per day ranges between 20 and 30. Responsibilities: Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting, and driving without assistanceExecutes accurate and timely handling of client delivery and shredding requestsPrepares accurate paperwork and recordsAttends all required training and meetings which may be outside normal business hoursDeliver containers of various sizes and weights that do not exceed 120 pounds eachOccasional warehouse duties, as assigned by supervisor Requirements:Must have at least a CDL A or B License with a minimum of 2 years of experienceMust have an operational cell phoneAbility to bend and squatClimb/step-up into a truck cabGrip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs, varying walking surfaces, and elevationLift at least 70 pounds up to 100 pounds at a time, from the floor to shoulder height, throughout the day. These may be in the form of bags or boxes of paper, hard drives, and other forms of media.
