Here is a SIMPLE answer... It doesnt have a Damn thing to do with the President. Little or NO control as is true with wheat, corn soy etc etc Oil is a commodity, primarily a result of supply & demand. OPEC has a major role in the Production / supply. 2000-2021 the demand was SO LOW due to the Pandemic that Oil was priced at a loss. And now Big Oil is reaping the benefits with Billions in profit
