Press release from the City of Santee: November 12, 2020 The City of Santee is launching a new site for Food Truck Grab-N-Go lunch otherwise known as Food Truck Central along Prospect Avenue, starting November 17th. This will provide employees in the surrounding areas with a convenient and outdoor COVID-19 safe location to order a quick lunch to go, or stay and enjoy their lunch at the picnic table which will be available on site. The new Food Truck site is located on the northwest corner of Prospect Avenue and Siesta Road (10600 block of Prospect, just west of Magnolia Avenue). Starting Tuesday, November 17th, Food Trucks will be serving this location on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Check out the City's website calendar link for an up to date food truck schedule - https://www.cityofsanteeca.gov/services/event-calendar .
