Law Enforcement, Others Pay Respects To Fallen Bucks Co. Trooper

BRISTOL, PA — The public viewing of Trooper Martin F. Mack, III, a Pennsylvania State Trooper who was killed in a car crash in Philadelphia last week, was held in Bristol on Wednesday morning. Hundreds of law enforcement officers and other mourners arrived at Wade Funeral Home on Radcliffe Street early Wednesday morning to pay their respects to the fallen trooper. Mack, a Bristol Borough native, is survived by his wife and two daughters. The viewing began at 10 a.m. and is expected to end at 3 p.m. Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub were present at the viewing. Mack, 33, was killed on Monday, March 21 after being struck by a speeding car on I-95 near the Philadephia sports complexes, along with Trooper Branden T. Sisca, 29, of Montgomery County, and Reyes Rivera Oliveras, 28, a civilian who they were taking back to their vehicle at the time of the incident. Jayana Tanae Webb, 21, of Eagleville, Montgomery County, was charged with three counts each of third-degree murder, homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, and recklessly endangering another person. She was also charged with two counts of second-degree manslaughter of a law enforcement officer, driving under the influence, and various traffic violations. Mack had served with the Pennsylvania State Police for 7-1/2 years, having enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in November 2014. He had graduated as a member of the 141st cadet class. He was assigned, along with fellow Trooper Branden T. Sisca, to Troop K. When not on duty, Mack acted as the assistant coach of the lacrosse team at Truman High School in Bristol Township. The funeral service for Mack will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church, located at 66 Levittown Parkway in the Levittown area. The service will begin at 11 a.m. A funeral procession will travel to Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, located at 1215 Super Highway in Langhorne. 5,000 members of law enforcement and hundreds of other mourners are expected to attend the funeral and pay their respects to the fallen trooper. As a result, the Levittown Parkway from Route 13 to Kenwood Drive in both directions will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Many troopers and law enforcement officials are expected to attend the funeral.
