Man Scales Fence, Strips Naked, Climbs Onto Jet At Midway: CPD

CHICAGO — A 33-year-old man is facing charges after he scaled a barbed-wire fence at Midway Airport, then stripped naked and jumped onto the wing of a private plane Tuesday afternoon, according to Chicago police. Authorities have not identified the man, who they say disrobed after his clothes got caught on the fence as he was attempting to climb over, police said Tuesday. The man attempted the maneuver just after 4:30 p.m., police said. After his jacket and shirt became caught on the fence, the man then took off the rest of his clothing and approached the runway, where he then climbed onto the wing of a private plane, police said. The man, who police say was intoxicated at the time of the incident, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries and to be evaluated.
