Description
DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Students in ISD 196 will have April 21 and 22 off.
While April 22 was already scheduled as a data analysis day for staff, with no school for all students, April 21 was recently added as a catch-up day for staff, the district said.
The decision was made by the school board, the district said.
There will not be YMCA School-Age Care (SAC) on April 21, ISD 196 said.
Superintendent Mary Kreger said she understands the significance of having a no-school day and that the decision was made in February to give parents two months to find childcare.
Employees can use personal days on April 21-22 if they choose, ISD 196 said.
