High: 43 Low: 28. Here are the top three stories today in Grand Rapids: On Friday, Apr. 1, the John Ball Zoo will launch an exhibit to educate the public about plastic pollution. The "Washed Ashore" exhibit will show 16 large sea life sculptures, composed entirely of plastic debris collected from 300+ miles of beaches. The plastic sculptures weighing over 60,000 pounds in total are designed to educate the community on conservation and sustainability, as well as shine a light on the issue of plastic pollution in the ocean and waterways. "Autism can be a misunderstood diagnosis," Moradi said. "Every person with autism is different, but differences are what makes us all beautiful."
