Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix: The Phoenix Theatre Company has begun its final phase of fundraising. The company has already raised almost $17 million of its $20 million goal. The money will help expand the Hormel Theatre and upgrade the Hardes Theatre complex. (Phoenix Patch) Waymo, Google's autonomous car company, will be expanding into downtown Phoenix in the near future. Waymo launched in Arizona in 2017 through an Early Rider Program, which included a backup driver as a buffer in its early stages.
