Retail Sales Associate (Full time or part time) Exciting opportunity at a new high end contemporary store in Greenport, offering ready to wear, shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories. We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to become an integral part of our team. Job Responsibilities: Welcome and identify customer needsRespond to customers’ questions and help them select productsDrive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling and sharing product knowledge.Provide outstanding customer service.Document sales by creating and updating customer profile records.Enter and process customer orders.Manage other financial transactions: process payments by totaling purchases, process checks, cash, credit and debit card transactions.Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stockProcess and stock new merchandise.Keep customers informed by notifying them of preferred items and future merchandise.Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields Excellent customer service skills Track record of meeting sales goals Product knowledge Excellent communication and people skills High energy level Dependability General math skills Love of fashion!
