Description
CDL Drivers, Diesel Mechanics and Supervisors - Responsibilities:
• Safe/timely transport of material from origin to destination and following the maximum allowed DOT driving hours in a day.
• Operate controls for loading/unloading material in and out of semi-trailers.
• Proper and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork related to delivery of material, safety, etc.
• Inspect Commercial vehicles and/or equipment for safe operating conditions before, during, and after trips.
• Maintain service and appearance of the truck and submit reports when necessary.
• Ability to properly diagnose and correctly make repairs within standard repair times.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty.
• Always maintain a safe and orderly work area.
• Accurately diagnose and repair all equipment throughout operation.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics and power train components.
• Rebuild or replace various types of powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control
valves, hydraulic pumps, etc.
• Direct and coordinate department activities to ensure quality and meet timetables.
• Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.
• Recommend or initiate personnel actions such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
CDL Drivers, Diesel Mechanics and Supervisors - Requirements:
• Preferred experience in a mining operation, plant, trucking, and/or rail.
• Diesel Mechanics: Must have your own set of professional tools.
Compensation Ranges:
• $17.00 - $34.00/hr. (DOE)
