The Mark Roberts Band is looking for a lead guitarist that can play blues influenced rock songs, replacing our friend Curtis Taylor who moved back to Pennsylvania. The band has played for the last 12 years in the Santa Barbara area from Ventura to Santa Ynez. I would like to find someone who lives in S.B. / Goleta for rehearsing. We play about half covers and half my originals in the Rock / Blues genre. The covers we choose are not the most commonly known songs but usually by well known artists. I play electric lead as well but I’m looking for someone a few notches better than myself. The band usually consists of 2 guitars, bass, drums, and additional vocals by Deb but I do most of the lead singing. I have made 7 self produced Cds of my original songs. Our age ranges from 68-72 and we all have been in many, many bands throughout those years. I could send you our material via Dropbox if you give me an email address..
