The California Reparations Commission voted today 5-4 to grant monetary remuneration to those black Americans who can prove that they are either the descendants of chattel slaves, or they are the decendents of 19tb Century Jim Crowe exclusionary laws and those customs that impacted their existence today. Think about what I just wrote. There is a better way to deal with the history of past/present and future racism that doesn't further divide this oft times too divided nation.
