Warehouse foreman oversees and coordinates the daily warehouse activities. Implements and maintains company owned tools and equipment, tracking maintenance, transfers along with deliveries, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within the time limits. The goal is to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations set forth by manager. • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. • Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items. • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. • Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data. • Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. • Updates Toll tracking database on a daily bases and weekly identifies discrepancies with Foreman’s inventory forms. • Securely storage of company property such as tools, machinery, vehicles and raw materials. • Monitors inventory levels and proactively notifies purchasing department of potential issues. • Coordinates regular repair, maintenance and purchase company tools and provide logistical support to ensure that tool arrives on job sites in it’s entirely. • Works closely with Human Resource on personnel needs, performance issues and annual reviews • Track company fleet in Hilti OnTrack! and gather mileage to ensure proper mileage • Provide tool report by location and discrepancies between Hilti OnTrack! and Foreman inventory QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Forklift Operator Certification Construction Tool knowledge of maintenance and tracking Hilti OnTrack! Software experience is helpful Clean Driving record and experience of diving stake bed trucks Warehouse organization, delivery scheduling all qualifications that are necessary with 5+ years’ experience Able to pass background checks for clearance to military bases.
