American Fireworks Company is currently looking for multiple full time Warehouse Associates for our Hudson, OH location. This role is Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm except during our busy season from Memorial Day to Labor Day which may require occasional evening and weekend days as needed. American Fireworks Company has been in business since 1902. The company is now running by the seventh generation of the family. Over the last decade, the company has seen steady and substantial growth. We are looking to add excellent individuals to our growing company with a family environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will have a daily impact on our business as you: • Accurately load and unload trucks for shows in a timely and safe manner. • Maintain and clean trucks. • Manage warehouse inventory and equipment. • Inspect, construct, maintain, and repair all equipment as needed. • Complete and submit all required paperwork according to company policies. • Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies necessary for shows and warehouse operations. • Maintain the warehouse and grounds in a safe, neat and organized manner. • Effectively check-in and out shows and communicate shortages & damaged/missing gear. • Assist with physical inventories and unloading containers/trucks of incoming product/gear. • Ensure that the product is unloaded, loaded and stored per company standards and regulations. Qualifications: • Ability to follow safety protocols without exception. • Knowledge of basic warehouse operations, including facility and grounds maintenance. • Basic skills in the safe operation of standard hand and power tools. • Forklift experience preferred. • Knowledge of the proper way to pack a truck and safely secure the load-will be trained • Ability to communicate openly and clearly with others. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under frequently tight deadlines with accuracy. • Ability to quickly solve problems and issues. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • High School Degree or equivalent. • Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
