Hi!
My name is Duyen Ha, @duyennha and I'm looking for a chef to help me with events for my dinner series, Duyen's Friends.
The cuisine is Vietnamese with French influences. It's a 5-course tasting menu with a wine pairing. Most of the produce comes from Santa Monica's Farmers Market and the meat/seafood is from local purveyors. Each dinner and menu are different from the last which requires a lot of adaptability on your end. The shift starts are roughly 8 hours from 3 pm - 11 pm and I will do most of the prep leading up to the event.
I'm looking for a highly skilled and motivated chef to work beside me. Restaurant experience is a must and at least 3 years in the industry. You should have worked multiple stations in the kitchen and can adapt to new settings as each dinner is in a new location. The event is on April 9th for 16 people. Normally there are 2 dinners per month so if this works out, I'm happy to continue working together.
