Ries Productions is seeking for the right person for our industrial machine shop. If you are a creative person and you like to make things this is the job for you. We are responsible for making every single part in house of all these products, including the website. Duties will require: 1. Lifting up to 50 pounds, up to waist level. 2. Bending and kneeling. 3. Climbing ladders. 4. Pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. 5. Reaching above head with up to 15 pounds. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Operate and maintain wood working machines. 2. Operate and maintain CNC machines. 3. Operate and maintain 3D Printers. 4. Operate and maintain Lasers. 5. Apply coatings to our products using spray gun in a spray booth. 6. Manual machining of metals. 7. Work as a team member, meeting professional standards of cooperation, communication and appearance. 8. Assemble final products from parts with accuracy and quality. 9. Make certain that all tasks are completed following the quality standards established for the product manufactured. Requirements: 1. Must be proficient in setup, operation and maintenance of CNC Lathes and CNC Mills. 2. ***Highest Preference to individuals with 3-5 years programming and setup of Seiki Lathes.*** 3. Experience in setup and operation of industrial wood working machines. 4. Experience using SolidWorks and or SolidCAM or Master CAM. 5. Proficient to read and write in G Code manually. 6. Proficient in Fine Woodworking. 7. Proficient in Precision Metal Working. 8. Proficient in design and making fixtures and jigs for both wood and metal fabrication. 9. Must have strong math skills and knowledgeable in the use of calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, tape measures and miscellaneous measuring tools. 10. Must be able to read and understand product labeling, MSDS, safety requirements, safety brochures and product directions. 11. Must live and be established in Kitsap County or Northwest Pierce County Washington. No ferry commuters. Additional skills or hobbies that may be considered: 1. Design and use of Additive Process Mills (Product manufacturing 3D Printing) 2. Use and spray application of ceramic coatings. 3. Design and fabrication using CO2 Lasers. 4. Photography, Cinemaphotography, and/or Studio Production Arts. 5. Custom wood inlays. 6. Custom leather work. 7. Custom design and fabrication of textile bags and equipment. 8. Social Media Marketing. Covid-19 Vaccination required, no exceptions. No phone calls will be accepted. Initially hours are 20 to 30 hours a week. Times are flexible between 6AM to 9PM depending on the right candidate. If we like you after 2-4 weeks you will become full time, 40 hours per week. After 6 months full time employees will get additional benefits such as; 2 weeks paid vacation per year, maternity leave with pay, sick pay 14 days a year, tuition benefits and performance bonuses.
