I’m a guitarist with a soul/R&B background, plenty of gigging exp, in my 40s, looking to move beyond the usual cover/original projects into jazzier explorations - sounds that are creative, euphoric, open-ended. I like soulful vibes & nasty pocket grooves as much as the next person, it would be fun to take that somewhere beautifully trippy too, dreamy, outer spacey. Let’s work out some material & gig it. (Finding gigs isn’t my strong suit tbh, but I have some experience.) This pretty much needs to be around the Boston-Cambridge-Somerville area for me. Keys (Rhodes, Wurli, Hammond sounds, yes), bass, sax, percussion, whatever, drop a line - I’ve got people I could bring in too depending on the mix.
